Curly Carrot WOW List 13 - What we loved in September

September has whizzed by for us after a wonderful slow summer. It’s very easy to get overwhelmed when your workload moves from one extreme to another.

This month we are sharing tips and ideas to lighten the load a little and stay on track.

Connecting & empowering female creatives & entrepreneurs. Moksi is a collective set up by a lovely soul called Maureen who we met at a Pinterest Workshop in the summer. Maureen hosts relaxed meetups in Brighton for like-minded women to talk about creativity, wellbeing, business tools, social media and everything in between.

STUDIO 50 Sustainable Lifestyle Store – Co-Working Space – Events Studio
We’re going along to their Sustainable Fashion Pop Up 11/12/13 October to browse rails packed with preloved designer gems & accessories by local makers.

Letters From A Hopeful Creative
A podcast for creative humans who are ready to dive deep, dream big, and do life and business on their own terms every step of the way.

Brought to you by creative coaches Sara Tasker and Jen Carrington, every Monday they share a brand new episode answering a letter from a hopeful creative just like you.
We love the latest episode. If you’re struggling to decide what to automate, eliminate, and delegate in their business.

Another Escape is an outdoor lifestyle, creative culture and sustainable living publication that explores the stories of passionate people, alluring landscapes and intriguing ideas. Issue 12, The Water Volume, explores our human connection to water. It dives into underwater worlds and experiences impactful encounters with marine life; it uncovers a yearning for cold, curative waters to provide balance, clarity and space for creativity; and it learns how artistic media can encourage meaningful discussion on ocean conservation. Another Escape 12 and past issues are available from Lewes Map Store

Pinterest Tip

Story pins are a new way of sharing ideas on Pinterest. They can include multiple images, text, videos and destination links.

They offer an opportunity to tell a bigger story through visual inspiration when sharing your products and inspiration on Pinterest. We think they’re perfect for a tutorial or to showcase a range of products within one pin.
